How close is UNC/Duke from the camden manor apartment. Im a huge college hoops fan (Cuse') and they will be in the ACC soon, so I'd love to attend! Also what things do you think I should be before actually packing up and heading down?
-Have the apartment & job lined up

It's about a half hour drive to Duke from there. Maybe 45 minutes to UNC. Harder thing will be getting tickets to the games.

Sorry, but I can't help much with exact expense questions - I grew up in CNY, but moved away when I was 14.

Don't forget about NC State! From Camden Manor, you're only about 15 mins from the RBC Center, which is a great place, and tix may be easier to come by. We'll see, though, if State hangs on to their early top-10 ranking for next year. I watched State play SU live when they were ranked #1 this year - can't wait to see more of that soon!

Compared to central NY state, summers are absolutely miserable here. Hot and humid and uncomfortable. Some people like them. I detest them. Springs and falls are great, and winters are quite tolerable.
