Looking for a friendly, loving, grace oriented church in Garner/Clayton area. Spirit led and open to the dwelling and gifts of the spirit. Something smaller to medium sized would be nice, although if we find what were looking for in a bigger church that is great. The problem we've been having is, we don't feel connected in some of the bigger "mega" churches that have the worship that we enjoy. But also don't like the dryness experienced in a more traditional/reserved church. We basically just would like somewhere that we can develop in our walk with the Lord, worship freely and feel the love from other like minded believers.

We have been looking for way over a year now and truly miss what I felt back home. I grew up Baptist, but found God in a more dynamic way about 3 years ago, and my life has never been the same. I had a "taste" of what I feel a spirit filled, loving but still biblical church should be like and then was relocated.

Any suggestions??

Maybe the contemporary service at 9:45 at Horne Memorial UMC in Clayton? Or Greater Heights UMC in Clayton? Both these services are less traditional.
