I'm looking for a recommendation for an interior painter. To be honest, I only need one 20ft wall painted in the house so it's not a terribly large job. I appreciate any recommendations.

Also, does anyone know how interior painters do their pricing? Is it by square ft? # of rooms?

Thanks!

I just wanted to raise this question again to see if anyone had any recommendations.

By coincidence, this was in my email a few days ago - and is still a current promotion. (I have no affiliation with Living Social or the painting company. I have used Living Social coupons and always found them okay.)

I recommend you go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy some paint, tape and rollers... and cover your 20FT wall yourself! Why in god's name would you pay someone to do a 2 hour job? -my opinion.

did you move recently? If so, you might want to contact your realtor for recommendations - they might have someone that might do a small job.

We recently had our ceilings done, and the company that painted the outside of our house also did our kitchen ceiling. At the time, they said they wouldn't normally do such a small job but b/c we folded it in with our outdoor painting, they did it for us. It was paint co. -- but right after they finished, this franchise changed hands to another guy otherwise I'd give you their # since they did a good job both in and out. no idea how this new guy would do though.

I did notice on the quote that there was a minimum. There is a fellow through church who does relatively small jobs. I'll send you a DM with his name/number. Can't vouch for his work, but he is a nice honest family guy.

When I read the op's "20ft wall", I immediately thought of my "20ft wall"---20' HIGH. No way would I paint that wall myself.

If I had a 20ft ladder to do the job, I would consider it. Thanks for your opinion.
