Hi I just moved to the area and am looking for a new doctor. I am 51 and have been Taking Prozac and Xanax for 2 years. I do not want to look like a drug seeker when I go into a new office. And would hope someone could help me find a doctor that is taking new people. And not one of the judgmental types. That will take the time to talk with me and listen to my needs.

Thanks and PM me if you have any recommendations

I understand your concerns. Do yourself a favor and try Dr. Mitchell H. Block. He is a fine, courteous and very understanding young man who respects a patient's concerns and listens. You'd feel very comfortable with Dr. Block. He is well educated and is a fine, young 'family' doctor (PCP). He is very compassionate and friendly.

I went to him based on a recommendation from another member of this forum and I am glad I did. We lived in North Raleigh and now reside in Wendell, but I still see Dr. Block.
His location near REX in Raleigh (3100 Duraleigh Road) is conveniently located. He's never overbooked either. I called today and he's going to see me tomorrow - very fine service from his friendly staff too.
Dr. Block's office number is: 919-571-6465

Dr. Block works at the practice of E. Brooks Wilkins Family Medicine, P.A.
