Hi, I have recently converted to a no grains diet. I have been able to find gluten-free bakeries but they use other types of grains to make their products. I am looking for baked goods made with coconut flour and almond flour. There are some great recipes on the internet but I am hoping to find a convenient place to find the occasional treat. Any suggestions?

Perhaps Earth Fare or Whole Foods?

You can find many Indian sweets made with almond flour. Mithai in Cary has some good stuff and you can also find stuff in Patel brothers.

Ah, but here's the kicker: also made without sugar? I'm also giving up sugar. Anything sweetened with fruit or stevia as well as no grains? I realize it's a tall order?

Yeah I think you're just best off doing that yourself. Though you never know what a health food store will have in stock. You could even mail order Paleo cookies and stuff I'm sure.

I googled vegan bakery raleigh and came up with this:

Raleigh Area Vegetarian and Vegan Info: Vegan Cake/Bakery Products (some Gluten Free) - Area Wide

Some of those places assuimg they are still open might be able to help you out.

Can anyone suggest a place to get a chocolate cake that's vegan, gluten free, sugar free, and contains no actual chocolate? Also, I'm allergic to nuts, so it needs to come from a facility that doesn't use nuts. I'd also prefer if the bakery only uses Himalayan sea salt.

Vegan doesnt mean no sugar or grains. Vegan means no animal by products of any sort. Butter, eggs, etc.

Are you following a paleo diet? I also follow that as well. Whole foods (in my area of Michigan) has a few packaged items made with almond flour, but also contain sugar. I think when you look for something so specific it's better to just make it yourself.

Nice sense of humor

Note: I am not vegan or allergic to nuts or dairy. I am requesting basically low carb baked goods with no grains or sugar.
