What is the best over the counter "product'/sleep aid to really make me drowsy and make the flight less painful.

I would recommend getting a doctor to prescribe xanax. It would lessen the anxiety but not make you tired.

My formula is quite simple. Start drinking at the airport bar before boarding and don't let up until the plane lands

I don't love to fly, and I get airsick, so I take bonine (over the counter) it works better for me than dramamine, and it makes me VERY tired. I only take 1/2 a pill, about 3 hours before my flight and I am so tired by the time we get on the plane I really don't care any more!
