Hi all,
We just relocated to the Chapel Hill area and we are looking for some great new doctors for our family. In particular, we need a top notch pediatrician. We prefer an intelligent provider that will take a little extra time with parents if necessary, is quick to refer to the appropriate specialists when needed, and has same day sick appointments. We would also appreciate any good recommendations on good adult primary care/ internal medicine providers.

Thanks!

We use Chapel Hill pediatrics. I only go to the Durham location because it's a smaller office and there is almost never a wait. I go to the Sage Road office in CH on weekends for urgent care. They have both Saturday and Sunday hours, and we have used same-day sick visits numerous times. We were referred out to an ENT for tubes. The hours and availability have been very good compared to what I had as a child at my ped's office.

We haven't had to use them very much but have been happy with Carrboro Pediatricians and Internal Medicine. I like the idea of using the same practice for most members of my family. Three or 4 women I believe

We live in Hillsborough and use Duke Peds. They have three offices, scattered around Durham. We use the one on Roxboro Road, and there's one at Southpoint. Can't remember the location of the third. All of our doctors are in the Duke Health network (even ones local to Hillsborough), so we wanted to go with a pediatrician that was also Duke affiliated.
