I am looking for suggestions for reasonably priced and honest car repair shops in Cary (or surrounding area)? I need to get my AC fixed, but do not want to be ripped off.

I can vouch for Import Motor Works, WASP, and Frantz. I've moved around quite a bit, so that's why I've been to all three.

I recommend them as well. Haven't taken my vehicle to them yet (i do most of my own work) but the last time I had a problem with my truck, I told them the issues over the phone and the steps I had taken to troubleshoot the problem to that point. They went away for about 15 minutes, then called me back and told me it was a problem outside of their realm of expertise and I needed to take it to the dealer. I ended up having to take my truck into Ford, but it saved me an extra tow and from wasting too much time.

yeah go to franz if you want to over pay, but really the only honest-which also means resonable prices-is lions auto behind woodys bar and resturant. My family has lived here over twenty years and we have always gone to these people. They are the best!!!!! We were refered by a family that has lived here for over forty years and all my friends go to him as well. I miss him now cuz I have a brand new car. His nuber is 919-468-0811, They are right behind woodys--down the street from the maynards lowes, he will get it done fast, cheap and still leave you money for lunch.
