Default Any suggestions for finding a recruiter?

Hi! I'm new to the board and I was wondering if anyone could assist me in finding some names of recruiters. A little background info - I live on Long Island with my husband and children and we just can't stay here any longer! We have tried to buy a house, but any house in our price range is either a shack or a bidding war breaks out which puts us over our price range. We went down to Raleigh two and a half years ago to look at houses - we loved them, but it just wasn't the right time to move. We are planning another trip in the next three weeks and we think that it will be a positive one, however my husband will need to find a new job. If anyone could help me out with some sames of recruiters I would be really grateful!!! Thank You!!

although I don't know what field your husband is in, my assumption is the computer/tech field? I think more people tend to have better luck when the find the companies they would like to work for (or ones that fit their criteria) and then go the individual companies websites and apply directly there. Many recruiters hire for temporary positions, contract positions, etc. That is not to say that you will not get a response from the recruiters, but he may have more of a response going directly to the company.

Smile Recruiter

You should go on to Careerbuilder.com. They have lots of listings, and you can pick the fields and locations that you are interested in.
Good luck.
