We have been contemplating a move to the Raleigh area for quite some time. We have visited a couple of times and will be going back next weekend again. We will be looking in the Bedford and Wakefield subdivisions with the possibility of building but I've heard the houses are quite close together which I will have a problem with. Someone told us to look in Chapel Hill and said the schools are better there. Finding a good school for our middle schooler is a huge priority. Bedford and Wakefield are in the Wakefield Middle and High School district and we were told they are great schools.
Chapel Hill is great but you are going to pay a lot more for the same house that you find in Raleigh. Chapel Hill' school district is all very good. If you find the right school in Wake it could be just as good as Chapel Hill.
