Can someone recommend a clean laundromat in East Durham? (Hillsborough: house, safe area)

When our washing machine died in December, I went to White Star Cleaners (they have a laundromat) on 9th Street until we got a replacement. I live further east, but the laundromat closest to my house is not in a safe area and I didn't want to spend a lot of time searching so I was willing to make the drive.
I don't know how clean you want, but in my opinion, laundromats aren't going to be spotless. To me, this one was in good shape and the attendant was helpful when I had some questions. When I have driven by their other locations, they look like they would be alright.
I liked going to this one when we were between washers. The owner has literally been there since I first moved here in 2005 and my kids went to school nearby. He keeps it neat (not spotless), he is very friendly, and his prices are way better than some other places. No unsavory individuals hang out in there or outside either. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I ever had a problem with my machines at home.

Like the pp said, most laundromats I've been to aren't going to be spotless like a doctor or lawyer's office.
Get on I 85 & go to White Star at the corner of Hillsborough & Cole Mill. That used to be the cleanest & best kept in Durham. I lived in an apt complex nearby with its own laundromat, but too few machines. White Star also has more folding tables than most places. Plus, I could leave clothes there if I needed & someone would do them for me. They are also a dry cleaner, if you have a few of those items. I also went to the one on 9th St., is is clean & decent. But Hb Rd is the better one, IMHO.
