Quick Question! Car Inspection in Cary...
There was a thread with a few car inspection places in Cary that were recommended by other users. Of course, now that we need it, I can't find it! Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

We went to Atlantic Tire on Maynard. They're very nice and you can get an appointment. It takes about 30 minutes if you have an appointment.

I seem to remember someone mentioning a place in (downtown?) Cary that ONLY does inspections... in other words, not a mechanic shop that will do the inspection and then try to get you to spend $1000 on fixing things that may not even be necessary. Happened to me once already, at Colony Tire.
Anyone know the name of this place?

There is an inspection station on Kildaire Farm near the intersection with Cary Parkway. It's near an animal hospital & Jiffy Lube. We've gone there a couple of times and have had a good experience & service was pretty quick.

I think I had inspection at the Jiffy Lube and was in and out in 20 min or so.

I've been going there for a couple of years. Pretty fast. A bit rude though. But hey, they're fast so who cares? And, you can always walk over to Chili's for a beer while you wait.

Thanks! That's the one I was thinking of... I don't really care how long it takes, as long as they don't try to rip me off.
Last time I had to get my car inspected (somewhere else), they said I needed about $900 of repairs or I wouldn't pass! I said I had to discuss it with my husband and asked for a printed list of all the items that needed to be fixed. They came back and said, "Good news... you passed."
Miracle!
We will try Quality Inspection Center this time.
