Sometimes I wish Sunni Skies wasn't so close (I live about 5 miles away)....it is just TOO convenient! LOL But I do love their ice cream (lemon and huckleberry are my favorites)

My second favorite is Blue Bell....hands down the best "store bought" brand I've ever had!!

I'm not fond of Blue Bell's ice cream, but I love their containers, the ice cream stays good in my freezer for weeks. I hate the cardboard type containers, the ice cream gets an ice crystal coating on top and it tastes freezer burned. Not so with the plastic Blue Bell containers.

For me covering the ice cream surface with the plastic wrap really tight (it needs to be pressed on to the ice cream) usually helps. I got this tip from Martha Stewart's magazine a while ago.

Sunni Sky ice cream. WOW! We were in Fuquay today and took the 7 mile drive. We loved the ice cream. The best ice cream we have had in a long time.
