These came up after doing a google search then searching foods to go. Can anyone confirm that the Lowes Foods Store on Kildaire Farm Road actually sells Tastykake pies, and other Tastykake products? Looks like the cupcakes are only sold in large boxes. My neighborhood Lowes does not carry these.

Thanks!

I have seen Tastykake at Target!

I would just call Lowes and ask. If they don't then maybe you can persuade them too!

Yes - I'd second calling them (and I know I've seen them around) - I kept going and looking for Hill and Valley Sugar Free Angel Food cakes there (after seeing online that they should be stocked), and could never find them. I asked one day, and they generally keep them 'in the back'. Good luck!

Thanks! You're both right. A phone call could answer my question pretty quickly. Guess I wanted to share my excitement at finding them. I will also check my local Target to see what they have.

WalMart and FoodLion both carry TastyKakes although I can't find the sugar-free ones anymore which were quite good.

Our Food Lion carries them. Note though that Tasty Kakes recently declared bankruptcy and was bought out. My husband swears that they don't taste the same now. He grew up outside of Philly so these Tasty Kakes are a big deal to him.

I thought they changed years ago.
A Philly guy would remember when they were good.

Hmmm...my last Krimpets were dry, tasted kinda stale compared to usual. Cake was dry and the frosting wasn't creamy. Hope that's not 'new & improved'! (This is coming from a South Jersey girl who knows her TastyKakes!)

I don't care much about Tastykake's...

Now if you can tell me where I can find Drake's Cakes "Funny Bones" I will be your new best friend!
