Default Trinity Ridge Apartments, Raleigh, NC

I am relocating from Richmond to Raleigh in the next couple of weeks. I do not know anything about the area. Am interested in finding out what businesses are located in or around the area.

I live not too far from that area and drive it regularly. It's not super close to any shopping, but I guess it depends on what your definition of close is. It's very near the RBC center and about 2 miles away from I 40 and Wade Avenue. It's a mile or two away from the away from the fair grounds and the Blue Ridge Road area which has a lot of medical offices, Rex Hospital and such. It's probably about 7-8 miles from Crabtree Mall and about the same for the Cary mall. 5 miles or so from Ridge Road shopping center which has a WHole Foods and some other non chain type specialty stores like a wine shop, a specialty shoe store, a FABULOUS independent book store and a few other things. Maybe 10 miles to Crossroads plaza which is a larger strip mall with all of the major chain stores. While there is no major shopping RIGHT there, it's in a quiet location for the most part and convenient to everything from RTP, to Cary to downtown and Central Raleigh.

Be aware that Trinity Rd can become extremely congested on game Saturdays (Carter-Finley stadium just down the road) and during the State Fair. Luckily this year there are no home games during the State Fair - that is a clusterf***.
