My MIL lived there for a year and really liked it. She had a second floor apartment and was able to have her cat with her during that year. They have the security gate there which she really liked as well.

I lived there for my first year in NC, before buying a home, and would have stayed longer had I not purchased. I liked it, and had a great 2nd floor apt w/ a 1st floor entrance.

when i first got a roommate we lived there for a year and its not exactly a place for young people that enjoy having parties or anything like that, it caters to older people so in turn it is very quiet there and safe. its rather small imo so it can be hard to actually find a vacancy and the pool is very small. i like the fact that its gated and the location is pretty good too, but you will pay raleigh taxes instead of wake forest taxes because its zoned raleigh due to the fact that the planners of wakefield wanted to use raleigh's water source instead of wake forest's water source and so they had to use a raleigh zip code. so basically everything around wakefield is zoned wake forest

Thanks for the replies. This apartment will be for an older individual so I think it will work out perfectly. We've met with management several times and were quite pleased but love hearing personal experiences.

Thanks again, y'all.
