The plan describes three areas within the park where future redevelopment efforts are likely to be focused.
Triangle Commons - at the northern, Durham County end of the park near a planned commuter rail station; the commercial heart of the park
Park Center - at N.C. 54 and Davis Drive; turned into a business-support center with a limited number of shops catering to surrounding employees.
Kit Creek Center - at the southern, Wake County portion; 5.5 million square feet of new development; limited amount of retail and restaurants near the proposed transit stop in that section of the park.
