I apologize if this question has been asked before. I tried using the search but it was not working very well.
I just got a job at University Mall, about 5 miles from my house. I don't have a car, and rely on Chapel Hill transit. The buses don't run very often on Saturday, and not at all on Sunday. I'd like to be open to the possibility of weekend hours, so I would take a cab to work on those days. What is the best (and CHEAPEST) cab service in Chapel Hill?

Personally, I would invest in a used bike off Craigslist if I only had to ride 5 miles away. Great exercise and virtually free after initial startup cost.
taxi rates here are expensive. Had to take one to the hospital in the middle of the night last year and if I hadn't been sick before I got in the taxi, I surely would have been after i was told the fare.
