Default Builders?

I love KB homes but was wondering if there were any other builders that I might have missed out on. We're looking for a home with at least 1800 sq ft and no more than $180,000. Any suggestions for builders anyone? Thanks.

I think it is going to depend on where you are planning to live....but here are some other builders who build within that range, but the developments are in different areas of the triangle.

edgewater- m/i homes
Peyton - centex
Braemar - anderson homes
braxton village- royal oaks building group

I also think pulte builds in that price range, but they are a large production builder. I have clients building a pulte home and they are happy, but it just depends on you!

Anyhow, good luck
Leigh

Thanks for your response. I will have a meeting with our new realtor soon and I'll ask her about some other builders as well. In the meantime I'll surf the internet for the ones you mentioned.

Ask your Realtor for a copy of the news homes magazine. That lists just the new home neighborhoods. If a particular builder doesn't have a home in inventory, you may not even know about that neighborhood. Plus...beautiful magazine just to look through. You should be able to get it from your Realtor or any grocery store in the area. Enjoy your search...its such fun to find a new home! Vicki
