It's not like the entire town is disrupted because there's a football game at UNC. Most home football Saturdays I barely notice anything relating to game traffic - I live 3.5 miles from campus.

If the schools themselves don't know, I can't imagine anyone on C-D would. And I believe you meant UNC, not USC

Raleigh hotels would probably be OK, but not Chapel Hill's. That weekend is pretty likely for UNC's actually. I believe it's always in late October.

For what it's worth, 2012 ACC football schedules were released in late February this year - so no one will know UNC's schedule for 2013 until sometime next year.
