I had a little accident with my '99 Limited 4Runner and my Running Board is all bent out of shape. Are there any junk yards in Raleigh or surrounding areas? I don't really think they make the identical running board anymore and I would think a brand new one is pretty expensive.

I went to a place in Wendell - Martin's Import Salvage (919-365-6667) to get salvaged parts for my Honda. The good thing is they could tell me over the phone if they had it and they also took the part off for me. The bad thing is they are not open on the weekends.

Look up LKQ in Garner.

Also you might find some on ncttora.com For Sale forum or nc4x4.com For Sale Forum.

Don't forget Craigslist.

Thumbs up Search the internet for car parts

used car parts - Google Search

Might find it there.

I have searched for parts with good results, and a variety of prices, from cheap to high.

Many yards can do a search of cooperating firms all over the area and get the part shipped to you.

The shipping cost may kill the deal if the part is large, though.

I'm assuming that, since the OP started this thread almost a year ago, he's probably managed to find the part by now .....
