We use Cary Pediatrics. They also have offices in Apex and Fuquay-Varina. We actually use the Fuquay location. We have been happy with them though. I think some of the doctors visit all offices.
We use Cornerstone too. My kids are a bit older so for me it's about convenience. I've only seen Dr. Wilson and Dr. Todd - liked them both. They spent a lot of time with us on our first visits. Dr. Wilson in particular is very outgoing.
Anyone use Jeffers, Mann, & Artman Pediatrics out at Waverly Place? A friend was recommending that place. I'm also looking for a pediatrician around Cary/Apex!
Hi, Can anyone recommend a peditician in the cary/apex area?
We are new to the area and have been to Apex peds (Dr. Johnson) and are unhappy.
Any advice of who to stay away from is also appreciated!
Thanks!
Not a big fan of Cary/Apex Pediatrics either especially their charging policies around after hours nurse/doctor calls. We still go there for yearly checkups (too lazy to change) but all sick visits send us to Pediatric Express at McCrimmon Pkwy. Dr.'s Gallentine and Durden are amazing and nothing can beat the flexible hours - open until 10 during the week and to 6 on the weekend. No appointments needed just walk right in for sick visits. Lines are longest right after school and right at opening time on the weekends (noon).
We use Tots n Teens Pediatrics in South Cary, near Apex. We like that it's a small, single doctor practice. Dr. Gopan spends a lot of time with us, we're never rushed, and she always remembers my children (we don't need to repeatedly explain things). It's fairly easy to get a same-day sick appointment and she's always on time.
Seems like majority of the reviews of Cornerstone Pediatrics on Citysearch has been less than favorable. About overcharging, etc. And a couple of bad reviews for Dr. Parmar. Are there other websites with more reviews?
We have been using cornerstone peds for 5 years now. I am not entrirely pleased with the practice and was looking for other options a couple of years back. However, we love Dr. Gelber and it is convenient for us, location wise...hence we are still with them. Dr. Rutledge is very nice too. I will not recommend Dr. Todd at all and not a fan of Dr. Parmar either.
