I am looking for a pediatric dentist in the Cary/Apex area. Looking mostly for a dentist with experience and honesty. Somebody I can trust to take care of my kids. Thank you so much.

We love Dr. Dan Howell, intersection Cary Parkway and Kildare Farm Rd. My kids love him, and the staff is amazing! The only inconvenient part is that they do not file with insurance. I've had to do that myself and it's a headache at times. However, our experience there has been well worth it.

we love Apex Dental Group -- Dr Jay Kitzmiller has two girls of his own and is great with kids. the whole family!

they are near the intersection of 55 and 64 in apex.

he is firm, yet gentle. celebrates no cavities and will tell you not to fix or not fix something (eg: cavity in a baby tooth -- to fill or not to fill -- that is the question!)

my kids both floss regularly b/c of dr. jay and have zero fear of dentists because he and his staff are so awesome.

:-)

We've used Dr. Dan for the last 29 years!!! Many of his staff have been with him since he started his practice. They are all such a wonderful group!

My youngest child is now 19 years old and she called and made an appointment to see Dr. Dan for her checkup. I told her that I think Dr. Dan doesn't take patients after age 18 but she said she didn't care...she was only going to see Dr. Dan!

She called, she went for her check-up and she was happy!

Vicki

Our experience with Dr. Howell was considerably different than the ones in this thread.
