Default Moving to Creedmoor

We are probably moving from Raleigh to Creedmoor sometime next year. I'm hoping someone can give me some insight into what the town and schools are like. I see that it got a 6 and 6 on crime, which raised my eyebrows - it seems like quiet little town.

Are there "bad" areas of Creedmoor or is the crime spread around pretty evenly? We are looking in the Golden Pond/Southerbys/Paddington area - are these areas safe?

We will have a youngster in elementary school - how do those shape up? I see the student/teacher ratio is higher than the national average. Is Creedmoor the kind of town where everyone goes to the high school sporting events and knows one another?

Do you see Creedmoor turning into the next Apex/Holly Springs in the future?

Is the commute from Creedmoor to Durham on I-85 as horrendous as a commute from downtown Raleigh to the RTP area?

Anything else we should consider before committing to move?

Thanks!
