Have you tried posting on the NC board on the Knot? (theknot.com)

I am sure you'll get more responses than you know what to do with!

Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks
My wife and I recently went to a wedding at a venue called Shadow Wagon Farm. It is located in New Hill, NC and is about an easy 25 minute drive from Cary. This is more of an outdoor venue with the ceremony taking place next to a pond and the reception in a modern barn that also includes acovered "open-air" dance floor area for a cocktail hour. There is also a Bed and Breakfast there. I really enjoyed this place. Here are a few pics to give you a feel for what it looked like . Enjoy!

We got married at Highgrove in Fuquay-Varina. Beautiful old house converted into an event space. They have a pergola outside overlooking a lake and a permanent tent with chandeliers and air conditioning as well. When you book you get the entire property so you can have things indoors or out, your choice. The main reason I recommend it is the service. The women who own it and their daughters all work the events and give exceptional service. There could have been a hundred different things going wrong during our ceremony/reception but I wouldn't have known it, they are consummate professionals. We got married outside so it was convenient for the quests as well since they didn't have to travel from church to reception, they had a cocktail hour while we took pics. Also they've recently built a French chateau-like lodging next door intended to let wedding parties stay before or after the festivities. Good luck!

Alot of the city parks in Raleigh are just beautiful. Lots of open space, parking, and easy to have a reception at, too.

We got married at Cafe Luna in downtown raleigh. It's very artsy, cutesy. I loved it! Fearrington is really nice, but usually pretty expensive. Good luck!

4alark will become famous soon enough
I wish you all the best!

Please be flexible on your date and time. I am also trying to book a party for that time period and found many venues are full. If you are creative and flexible your dream wedding will come true.
