Question Giants fans in Raleigh?

Am southerner with strong football ties, mostly college and all Tennessee. Have no doubt that there will be lots of sports bars with Vols fans, but significant other is a huge Giants fan. Any places there with loyal fan base to watch games, party? Get the sense that there are lots of NYers, but need the proof...............Thanks!

You are going to find lots of games shown at most sports bars....multiple tvs are a great thing. There is always going to be

You may want to look for meetup groups that are for Friends at work belong to a Red Socks one for instance and they meet at different bars for the games....it's just not the same one each time and I know there are many other teams that have them as well.

If you are looking for a good sports bar to catch the Game you can try the following (I'm sure they will all have the game on a few TV's):

Hi-5 (Just a few blocks from Mellow Mushroom on Glenwood Avenue)

Woody's (In Moore Square)

The Hurricane (In the "Warehouse District" ~ featuring over 50 flat screen tv’s)

There are also many Carolina Ale Houses all over the triangle that have just about every game on you can imagine.

Actually, the Hi5 isn't a bad idea. We were there on a Saturday and they had a good 15 different college games on. Every booth has a TV built in. Thanks for the reminder!

Post Was curious............

Hi

From most of the other threads it sounded like there was a huge number of NY transplants, so from another thread that had active Green Bay Packer fans getting together at specific places, I thought there must be AS MANY???? Giants fans in the Raleigh area? Judging from number of responses, guess there aren't as many as I thought. Thanks for the listing of bars, though! Maybe that's a good place to start?

I don't think you can judge anything by the number of responses you get in a general forum.

Find a bar you like with plenty of TVs and enjoy the games.....it really doesn't take being surrounded by only folks that like the same teams you do to enjoy the games and have a good time.

Carolina Ale House seemed to be the right choice. They have every single game on. They have the direct TV package and play a different game on every TV in the place. Just tell your hostess you would like to be seated near the Giants game, and you are all set!
