Capri Flavors in Morrisville! Italian food taught but an older woman who is from Capri. She was brought to the U.S. (Rhode Island) by the owners of Al Forno, a 5 star restaurant in Providence. The classes are fantastic, you bring wine and all sit down to a delcious meal when done. It's not inexpensive...about $60 per person but worth it!
I have attended quite a few cooking classes. Jmo, take a knife skills basics class before doing anything else. Most classes are a waste of time and you don't actually learn how to cook. The only class that made a difference for me was learning how to chop and which knife for what job. I swear it was life altering for my cooking abilities. The other classes were just fluff and no skills were learned. I think sur la table has a knife class.
girlfriend did one at Southern Season and loved it!
