I am losing sleep over the school size, redistricting, etc. in the Cary area. A private school my solve my problem. I have kids going into elementary, middle and high school. Can anyone give me positive/negative info on Cary Christian School?
My daughter will be going to kindergarten next year and I will be applying to Cary Christian. Are you currently in the area? If you are, every other week they do a tour and allow you to sit in on a classroom. I did it last January. Their teaching methods are very different and you may like them or you may not. Also, they begin Latin in 3rd grade, so I think if your middle and high school children haven't been taking it you may need to get them tutoring to catch up. It's a fairly academic school for a Christian school. I can see why people love the school and I can see why it's not for some people so you'll really need to understand how they teach and figure out how you feel about it. It also can be difficult to get into and that's slightly unpredictable. Hope this information helps.

Thanks
UOFI, I am a vocal instructor in Cary. A number of my students attend Cary Christian School. They range in age, but each of them is well-mannered and a joy to be around. My feeling is that their character and personalities are largely developed by their home lives, and that school enhances that which has already been established.
I have never heard anything negative about the school.
Thanks for the info. I am not in the area yet, but will visit in the next several months.
I believe if you go to their website they have videos which you can watch that show you what their classes are like. It's pretty interesting.
