The new signs were up yesterday. Anybody see me drive by? I was the red blur.

Just kidding...

I was out there too. Blue blur. Not kidding. Even 70 is too low for the quality of the road and my driver training

Didn't we cover this once before?

Its crazy to think that in the 1970's the speed limits were in the 70s and people were driving hulks of metal with lap belts, drum brakes, and skinny ply tires, maybe with a beer in their hand and a kid jumping around the car. Today cars are so much safer and more capable, even if humans haven't evolved much.

It's not your driver training I'm concerned about. It's the other tailgating, social media engaged, careless fools on the road that worry me. And they're all around at ANY speed.

That's why I stay away from traffic swarms and stay by myself.

Yep, pretty wild. But hey, government funded market research and lobbyists unfortunately have more pull than science these days

+1 on the app Waze,
Yes, it lets me see the speed traps ahead, but it's also near-realtime indication of slow-downs, minor and major accidents, AS I"M NAVIGATING is so helpful.

Just yesterday I was driving along I-40 about 6pm near the fairground, saw a slowdown indication on the Waze, got off 2 exits early and let the auto-recalc nav figure out my new path. As I was driving along the parallel exit ramp I could see the 3 car fender-bender and police at the cause. Saved me 10 minutes and I got out of everyone else's way.

So Waze has good Triangle info?

Pardon the question, but how do you use it while you are driving? I mean, you wouldn't be looking at it all the time, so how would you know that something was ahead?
