Be aware that if you are looking for V-day, the these places usually sell out early and have long lines.

i second the escazu recommendations. beautiful chocolates, tasty, & different flavors than the norm. they make a great quick hostess gift, thank you gift, or just delicious for popping into your mouth.

Nofo at the Pig (gift store upstairs) also has an extensive chocolate selection, some local (Escazu and Red Light) and some not local (Moonstruck is from Portland but excellent chocolate) - you can buy bars or pick and choose from a lot of different truffles and chocolates.

Love this store....LOVE IT!! However, for true foodies, they do use vanillin, a fake version of vanilla. Totally put me off. I would go the for cute stuff like wedding favor candy or something.

I've been to The Chocolate Boutique and Videri. Both cool places to check out.
