Hi. As someone who's both conservative and fond of small towns in the Southern US, I would like to know whether the town of Apex, NC is more conservative or more liberal? If you can also tell me Apex's political stance, that'd be great!

So the question is: is Apex, NC conservative or liberal?

Most towns do not declare themselves either conservative or liberal, and many people don't either. What are the character traits you are wondering about? Both people and towns can be more conservative in some ways and more liberal in others.

IMO old folks tend to be conservative and younger folks will be more liberal socially.

I never understand why people feel they need to only live around people who agree with them politically. I'm a liberal Democrat and I have friends and neighbors all over the political spectrum. Be open minded, perhaps you will learn a few things

I think that most people who come to the Triangle to look for traditional Southern conservatism would be disappointed. But, then again, I am not sure that those who come from the North really know what traditional Southern conservatism is and I am not sure that's what they really want.

I'm guessing social and religious traits, but also aspects concerning family life and such.

Personally, I consider conservative since I'm Republican, I find religion to be important and I favor a traditional vision of family life.
