That space is a wetland preserve. Before last week's rain, it was almost completely dry. Apparently they are going to kindly trapping, and relocating, the beavers that are damming up the nearby water. After that happens there should be no more water in that space. Time will tell, I guess. We just bought a house on that street which is how I know.
ah ok, I was checking out the house at 436 Edgepine...been on the market almost a year. Nice looking house, but I guess the wetlands are keeping people away from it? I love the architecture of the homes in that neighborhood.
My wife and I live there and were amazed how far back the neighborhood is going. We were walking the other night and found a street that Edgepine deadends into that goes way back. We didn't check it out though due to the darkness but it seems to be a nice addition. They are going to have to add another entrance soon to S.O.
