Time for our forum's third meetup. Woohoo!

This one will be held in downtown Durham in the uber hip American Tobacco Historic District. Over the past few years, its historic buildings have been, and continue to be, renovated into a mix of offices, shops, restaurants, and condos. Phase 3, with an estimated completion date of late 2008, will be the Durham Performing Arts Center. Here is Preservation Durham's writeup on the area:
Preservation Durham, North Carolina - American Tobacco Restoration (http://www.preservationdurham.org/places/tobacco_american.html - broken link)

Here is a pdf map of the area, showing the three renovation phases, and the two places we plan to be:

We will be meeting on Novermber 10th, a Saturday, at 5pm at the Mellow Mushroom which is on the corner of Blackwell Street and Willard Street and is a very casual pizza and hoagies and salads kind of place. You should definitely feel comfortable bringing the kiddos, though you may want to bring them something to do when they're not eating

There is a most convenient parking garage right smack next to the Mellow Mushroom on Willard Street. It is labeled "South Parking Deck" on the above map. Here is the Mellow Mushroom website but BE WARNED if you're at work - a really annoying animated mushroom will talk to you:
Mellow Mushroom

Afterwards, those so inclined can walk over to Tyler's Tap Room and Restaurant. Check out their website here:
Tyler's Taproom - Durham, North Carolina

Please RSVP here, or send me a direct message if you'd prefer, so I can get an accurate head count for space reserving purposes

Here is the mapquest link, but remember you are aiming for the parking garage just to the west of the Willard and Blackwell intersection

Any dudes going to join in? I don't think my wife will be too thrilled if I tell her I am going out to eat with a bunch of ladies I met through the internet!
