We moved from Iowa 2 years ago. Could not find any horse properties in our price range closer to Durham/Raleigh so bought a 6 acre place in Hurdle Mills. (just North of Rougemont that another person mentioned.) I also work at Duke and it takes me 35 min to get to Duke. It is 15 min to Hillsborough which has access to I85 & I40 that take you anywhere. It takes me 45-60 min to get to Raleigh depending on where in Raleigh. It is a very small community but Roxboro is 10 min away. We have a highly ranked elem school that is so popular they do not allow open enrollment. Our property is move-in ready for you and your horses. We have 2 horses. It is listed for $285 3 bdrm 3 bath + office. We have cable so high speed internet avail. Selling as moving closer to family.
