Looking for A Great Sports Bar in North Raleigh or Wake Forest (Must Have Darts!)
I have been to lots of sports bard in Downtown Raliegh, andd I have hit a few of the Carolina Ale Houses in the area, but I am looking for a good sports bar closer to my house in N. Raleigh. I don't have ESPN at home and need to hit a bar tomorrow to see my Hokies take on Boston College! I am hoping to find a nice bar with a few good tvs to watch the game, some inexpensive beer specials, and maybe throw a few darts (that way if the hokies lose I can pretend like I am not really interested in the game and that I am only there to play darts!)
I have been to Front Row Sports Bar on New Falls of Neuse and Tailgaters on E Millbrook and they aren't too bad but wasn't all that impressed. How is Odwyers Irish Sports Pub in Wake Forest? Do they have a few dart boards? Any others worth checking out in N. Raleigh or Wake Forest?
Thanks!

Rudinos on Strickland Road has a rooftop bar area. No kids after a certain hour.
I'm not sure about the darts.

O Dwyer's had darts last time we were there. My husband likes he place a lot! He and his friends go and have their garbage plate (which is as gross or a good as you think it would be!!!). They like the place, for sure. It never seem to get too crowded during the week, which is nice (fewer smokers).

Check out Overtime Sports on Rogers Lane. It's a little place but they have lots of TV's, great beer specials, and 2 dart boards

O'Dweyer's is a great place. They have both English and Electronic darts. Good staff, treat them well.

It's a mix. They always have a live band on Saturday's...so it can get a bit loud and the crowd can vary depending on the band playing.

O'Dweyer's was great. The football game on the other hand was a dissapointment. It was difficult to watch the Hokies let it slip away with just 2:11 left in th game! Oh the humanity!
Fredericksburg.com - For Hokies, this loss came out of nowhere
O'Dweyer's gets a thumbs up from me. Seemed like a nice local sports bar. Nice Wait staff, good food and inexpensive beer. I'll go back.

Being from VA, I was never and am still not a big hokies fan. In the DC area they have them as a "local team" on their sports page, yet they neglect the true local teams (minus UMD and Georgetown).
