At University Massage on Franklin Street they actually require you to remove your underwear, from what I've heard, allegedly, so I'm told... from other people, that have actually been there before.

Note: Please keep your responses related to what you've experienced here in the local area or I'll have to move the thread to the Health forum.

Deirdre Toomey at http://Movebettermassage.com/ does outrageous medical massages. Trigger point work with both her hands and hot stones. Woman flat knows shoulders.

Her advice is "comfort level," but she always has a sheet covering areas she is not working on.

My understanding "comfort level" and draping with sheets is the norm in this area.

(I think I'll look for opportunities to post this response on other threads.)

I went to Dan, based on your recomendation and really loved him. I wasn't too thrilled with Synergy...didn't feel or smell like a spa to me! I gotta have that spa smell! I know they were doing some remodeling. Does it feel more spa like?

No, the place itself doesn't have the true feel of a spa but they may eventually get there. I'm glad you enjoyed your massage with Dan. He really knows his stuff.
