Yeah neighbors have talked to his parents before and they don't give a crap. The scary thing is we have lots of kids that run around between houses here so I could see one afternoon it ending very badly for everyone involved. I contacted Cary PD about running radar and they never came out. Guess they were too busy fighting crime on the big bad streets of Cary.
Call them again, or Wake Co - tell them there is a driver that is speeding daily and they will send someone out. One speed ticket is all it should take.
I find it interesting they actually posted it online, giving drivers a head up. I agree Cary Parkway is a mini race track. It has some split personality between cars going way too fast and other cars sitting on the left lane for no apparent reason.
My only problem with Cary Parkway is those Volt and Pious (I mean Prius ) drivers, hypermilling along in the left lane, without moving to the right.
I drive a Prius. Our other car is a Volt. We do not hyper mile. We do not need to. The Volt drives so fast if I'm not careful I'll get a ticket. Lead foot.
That's why I got the Prius. No fast pickup. No ticket.
I assume you were making a South Park joke, but I do find hypermiling a bit odd.
I refuse to drive with the windows up and no AC in July, Thankyou.
ps. The left lane of Cary Parkway isn't a passing lane like you'd have on a freeway. It's an outlet, just like the right lane.
I generally agree that faster traffic should keep right, but if my turn is coming up on the left and there's no turn lane? I won't be taking that turn at 45+ to satisfy the speed demons. Even if my little hybrid will let me take it on two wheels.
