I'm looking for either in-home infant care or a center in the downtown Raleigh area or just south of town. Any recommendations?

Downtown options inlcude First Baptist and Edenton Street, where we had our children, as well as First Presbyterian. All of these centers were highly rated, expensive, and had waiting lists several years ago when we were there, but I'm not sure how that may have changed with time. Good luck.

Bumping up an old thread as we're now also looking for day care in downtown Raleigh for our 6 month old girl. I searched the NC website and it returned First Presbyterian and several others in South Raleigh.

Also from this thread I've gathered First Baptist and Edenton STreet Methodist and Jordan Center. Any others?

FYI, just called First Baptist and Edenton Street and they don't take kids under 3 years old.

LOL. Yes they do. First Baptist is the INFANT TODDLER CENTER, which feeds Edenton St, which starts at 2 years old.

We may have to go the nanny option for now. What's the best website/resource to find nannies?
