They are building a new harris teeter, at a shopping center they will call purnell place. It is going to be on the corner of capital (us 1) and purnell road - I actually think it will on the harris road side of capital (where the produce stand is now.
I am thrilled! I think it is going to be a whole shopping center area.
where is the new harris teeter being built in the wake forest area
There is another Harris Teeter going up on the corner of Forestville Rd and 401. (At least that is what the sign says on the corner.) Across the street from that a new Lowes Foods has opened and there will be several more stores to come since they are building a lot more around it.
i live in traylee and that purnell capital one is right next to my house ,is that for sure and when would construction start.

A major department store will anchor the center, but the name has not been announced and plans have not been submitted to the town. It is a joint venture between local developer Jim Adams and Weingarten Realty. Planner Ann Ayers said they are planning 366,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 85,000 square feet of office space. Adams is also donating the land for a fire station somewhere on the site.
