I am looking to start my own Non-Profit and save the world! I am wondering if anyone knows of any clubs or consultants on how to actually start. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try Google? I found the NC Center for Non-Profits in about 5 seconds.

You probably already know this, but just make sure you aren't duplicating a service. Or, if you are, that it's needed! I work for a non-profit and have seen many others open and then close because there was already a np in the area doing/advocating for the same thing. Best of luck to you!!

Duke has a great program for people working in nonprofits. It is highly respected in this area. They offer classes on how to start up a nonprofit too. There is a lot to learn and I would highly recommend them. Nonprofit Management -- Duke Continuing Studies
