I used to live in a concrete building where neighbors noise was not an issue.
Would you please suggest apartment complexes near chapel hill or Durham with concrete buildings or good insulation. Other nice and quite options are also appreciated.
Our budget for a 2-bedroom apartment is $1100-1400.
I will teach at UNC so easy commute to the campus is a great plus.

We moved to Cary 8/2012. We stayed at Courtney Reserve for 9 months in a 2 bedroom apartment while we house hunted. It was very nice and the people who work there were wonderful. The clubhouse had everything we needed (gym, pool and internet cafe) and we found it quiet even being on the first floor. It was 1010.00 a month. Good luck to you.

I too am looking for a nice, clean quiet complex SW Durham or somewhere with "urban" style access. Down sizing and do not want to own any more. Having trouble finding something. I would not mind sharing. But I'm older (60!) and just got divorced and having trouble finding something nice. Haven't rented in 30 years :0 Any suggestion would be most appreciated!
