Is anyone aware of a laundromat in Cary that offers "wash and fold" service? It's generally a person who works at the facility who does the laundry, folds it, and puts it in a laundry basket. When I used the service many years ago in another city, it was quite reasonable.

I am almost certain that Cary Laundrette on W. Chatham offers this service. I do my own laundy there once a week. You should give them a call to see what services they offer. 919-462-9666

I'm looking for a place to wash a large king sized comforter. Does anyone know if Cary Launderette has the large sized washers? Is there a coin machine (dollars for coins), or do I need to bring a bunch of quarters? Alternately, can anyone recommend a Laundromat in the west Cary area? I didn't find anything with a google search. Thanks!

It been a few years since I used them but there is one on Buck Jones (not too far off of Walnut). It used to be called All Aboard Coin Laundry. It might be called South Hills Laundry now.
We used to use the wash & fold service they provided for our very large comforters.

I have washed queen-sized comforters in the largest washing machines at the Cary Launderette and am pretty sure you could fit a king-sized comforter in there as well. It costs 20 quarters for the largest machine and they have two change machines inside the building.

South Hills Laundry.
1311 Buck Jones Rd, just up from Walnut.

Huge washers. I use them to wash comforters and spreads. There are always folks picking or leaving off laundry. Have no idea what the wash & fold cost is, but no one is ever arguing about it.

+! for the South Hills Laundry
1311 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh, NC 27606, (919) 460-0057
South Hills Laundry - 1311 Buck Jones Rd Raleigh, NC

Clean, well lite, the machines are kept up, and the staff is friendly.

No, I don't work there, but I do drive 25 minutes to go to this place, (bypassing 3 that are closer to me, which are dark, expensive, dirty, broken, and otherwise nasty.
S. Hills is run by the same guy for the 3+ years I've been going, and he does a lot of wash & fold. Call the number for their pricing.

And I confirm they have a selection of commercial front-loaders from MASSIVE to medium to a bunch of commercial top-loaders. And a full wall of dryers.
The only thing I wish they had is a floor-centrifuge. The place I went to years ago had one specifically for pillows and comforters etc. But I've not seen one of those anywhere since.
