Hi everyone!
I'm going to be moving to Chapel Hill in about a month and I need some advice! I know that the town overall is beautiful and very safe, but as a young woman not from the area, I could really use some specific recommendations of areas/neighborhoods/apartments to look at and/or to stay away from. (This is not meant to insult anyone, just need some honest opinions).
I'm looking for some place very safe, clean, and somewhat quiet. Washer/dryer and dishwasher. Hopefully for under $1,000 per month. Prefer a 2 bedroom but would do a 1 bedroom. (I know this is a lot to ask for.)
I looked at Notting Hill last week and the apartment and area seemed great, but right now they're prices are pretty high. Same with Cosgrove Hill and Chapel Hill North.
I teach in Oxford and therefore easy access to 501/14 and/or 40 would also be great to keep my commute down.
