After watching the news last night and hearing that there was someone shot in Durham, the shirt lost some of it's humor, to me.

We don't call it "boredom."

It's "ennui."

There's a town ordinance and a fine for calling it "boredom."

*Off to buy more beige*

Honestly I find all of it offensive. Durham doesn't deserve nor can it afford anymore bad publicity, even though this is innocent sarcasm... Durham isn't a crime ridden city any longer and perpetuating this image only attracts negative attention.

I agree- not too much humor-even in jest- about gun violence.

Slightly inaccurate. You don't really die of boredom in Cary, you slowly shrivel up and eventually disappear into another dimension....

I don't really find it offensive, but I agree with you. I live in Cary now, but I lived safely in Durham for years. I really enjoyed Durham and would live there again. I'll never understand the Durham bashing.

I definitely can understand the Cary bashing. It is where your independence and creativity go to die!

Thanks! I've seen that shirt around and wanted one, but didn't know where I could buy it.

Why all the Cary and Durham bashing when we have Fuquay to spotlight?
