The last burger and hot dog place in that location lasted three months. I'll be interested to see how long this one lasts.

Just left Corbett's.
Mrs. gave the burger a thumbs up.
Vast selection of bottled sodas.

They have to iron out the kitchen flow, but that is what the shakedown cruise is for.
Really, pretty busy at 1:30 on a Monday.

How is it compared to burger fi? I don't usually go to a burger place for a great soda selection (don't really drink soda).
how is the cost?

Here's their menu: https://www.facebook.com/CorbettsBur...17784394919914

I'm normally not into sodas either but they have a couple I haven't had since I was a kid!

The soda selection is amazing - definitely something everyone should check out. Literally any and every soda you could ever think of, with quirky bottles from all over the country. If you're into things you dont see often, you'll have an endless selection of unique sodas to check out.

The burgers were good, very fresh. I would recommend getting a double burger with cheese and a couple toppings - dont go too overboard. I got the single and frankly I wanted more meat bc it was so good, would trade the toppings for a double. Fries are waffle and good.

Hope the locals go try this place to support another local family owned business opening up so we're not surrounded by Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Bojangles on every corner!!!!

If its over $5 bucks for lunch, you can bet plenty of people will complain. Owning a restaurant, non-chain, in the Triangle is extremely risky.
I understand restaurants are inherently risky, but they are even more so in the Triangle.

So we decided to check it out last night. Two specialty burgers, two bottled sodas, an order of fries, and an order of banana pudding came to about $18. Not bad considering we weren't holding back on our ordering.

Burgers were fantastic. The fries were cold and honestly I probably should have sent them back. Banana pudding was nothing special. Soda selection was great but a bit overwhelming. They definitely seem to be working out the kinks in production. Right now they're operating at Cloo's level of speed lol. Also I thought it was weird they bring out your order in a paper bag when you're obviously planning on eating it there. Just kind of seems like a waste of a paper bag.
