Ok, where is the best place for Thanksgiving buffet? We made reservations at the Radisson in RTP, but we were wondering where the best eats are.

oh yes It southern, Green Beans, Black eye peas , Sweet Potatoe Casserole, they have various type of fish as well, The desserts are just evil, Pumpkin Pie, Buttermilk pie, custards etc, Breads include dinner rolls, cornbread, hush puppies, and about everything that cook is prepared at the individual restaurants with North Carolina products.
You dont have to go there for Thanksgiving meal and it dangerous to deviate from it though.
Those cafeteria ladies will make you go through the line and make decisions quick you end up with a feast . The company originated in Winston Salem.
I have yet to have unpleasant experience at any of them.

I highly recommend the Irregardless cafe (http://www.irregardless.com/cafe.html - broken link) in downtown Raliegh for a nice Thanksgiving Meal. Their website has more info about Turkey-Day!

Gotta second Irregardless Cafe. I took the advice of this board and had my Xmas Eve dinner there last year. It was wonderful. I went back for my birthday this year. Then went back again and got engaged there.

Greg Cox's epicurean blog on the N & O web site has a great list of all of the restaurants that are serving Thanksgiving Day. Pretty good list of eateries. The Angus Barn has a first class Turkey Day meal. They offer three or four sittings.
