Looking at the town documents for 55 James Midtown, I see that Apex Peakway will cut through Apex Mobile States. Does anyone know what the town plans for that community are?
You got my curiosity up so I looked at the Apex Interactive Development Map. But I cannot figure out what you mean. First, where/what is "Apex Mobile Park"? There is a mobile home park already along the Apex Peakway called Shangri-La, but of course it would not be affected further. As far as 55 James Midtown, it is far away from the Peakway and therefore not related. So what is it that you are asking?
Hmmm. Interesting. The thing is, the route for the Apex Peakway has been supposedly known for many years, at least 15-20. So I'm guessing the owner of that property has made plans. Maybe he is waiting for some residents to move out normally, then he will consolidate his space. Or, because this is so long in the future (since the piece of PKWY is not yet funded), he will just expect that someone will have bought him out by then. Have you approached the owner to see if he has plans? And do you have specific worries or are you thinking of buying the park yourself?
On further examination, it appears that Apex Mobile Estates is actually on the SE side of US 1 Hwy, and it is currently listed for sale. The writing on the peakway map is not over the actual location of the property you are concerned about. So, no problem.

No, Apex Mobile Estates is not SE of US 1...it's exactly where it's labeled on that map. Markham, Seagram, and Gilby Streets. The text label goes right across all three.
I stand corrected. When I did an online search there was a link to a different property on the other side of US 1 that was referenced as Apex Mobile Estates.
From the view SFSpiderman captured it sure looks like the Peakway would need to go through that property, and that its redevelopment is just a matter of time. You can confirm that with the current owners/agents.
