Mouthful - Elevation Burger opening this weekend in Brier Creek | newsobserver.com blogs

We're excited! We've been while visiting friends in the DC area and DW is a confirmed addict of their cinnamon orange tea. All we need now is Smashburger and we really can have the ultimate "better burger" throwdown between Five Guys, BurgerFi, Elevation Burger, and Smashburger.

How's the pricing? Is it outrageous like Five Guys?

Hey that's great news, thanks! I'm trying to figure out exactly where they are going to be. The address suggests the big shopping center over by Carino's. I can't think of a space over there that is empty. Does anyone else know where this will be?

Wish they had a bison burger. I can't seem to find one anywhere.

EDIT: I'm not sure but from the construction pictures on Facebook it looks like the former Wolf Camera/Ritz Camera location. The interactive shopping center map shows a listing for Elevation Burger in that building. It appears to be in the same building as NY Pizza and Gamestop. There's not too much parking in that spot so I imagine folks will need to find a space somewhere and walk over. Not the best location for a fast food joint with a lot of quick in/out traffic.

Here are Facebook photos.

Not "fast food", think BurgerFi or Chuck's. And there is plenty of parking about 100 feet away. Pretty short walk........

Confirmed. It's at the corner in the space where Wolf Camera was, the other end from the Verizon shop. I know as I drove past and saw all the window signs.

The good news is that I posted a question on their Facebook page about parking, since there are only a few spots in front. They replied that the store will have 3 doors, one in front, on in back (where there is a lot of easy parking), and on on the side for picnic tables.

Think about parking a little farther away and then you can walk off some of the calories after your yummy meal! :-)

Why is it so hard for a burger place to offer a choice of cheeses?? Not everyone likes chedder or american (I'm looking at you, Five Guys)..

I'd say it's pretty comparable to BurgerFi in terms of price so maybe a little pricier than Five Guys?

Not to be a downer, but I went to Elevation Burger in Virginia last month and it was just okay. Burger just okay, fries (touted as cooked in olive oil) just okay. I wouldn't say I was impressed, and I definitely won't travel to Brier Creek for a visit.

Keep in mind that a standard 'elevation burger' includes 2 patties and double cheese, so if you don't want that, be sure to order just a 'hamburger' or 'cheeseburger.'
