Hey, does anyone know of any cheap apartments in Cary specifically below 1000 dollars im looking for a one bedroom so I don't need anything really big or expensive just a nice apartment but not in a ghetto area either. I know cary is very safe according to many internet sites and magazines but you have a little bit of bad everywere Yea and crossroads is probably really expensive right? I like that area though but anywhere in cary is fine thank you all.

YES IT HAS TO BE IN CARY I LOVE THAT TOWN

I am at the Tradition at Stonewater complex, in Northwest Cary right near the RTP. It is definitely a safe area, right on the edge of town. Quiet, and no problems to speak of. They should have some apartments in your price range...I am paying $815 for a 2bed/1bath.

Some of my colleagues live up the road at the Bexley at Triangle Park, which should also have some units in that price range.

Ghetto? What do you mean by that?

You need to know more about this area than blurbs from a magazine, and Crossroads is a shopping center. It's not a neighborhood.

Also, generally speaking, one does not associate Crossroads with high-end housing.

Have you ever been here?

Ghetto is slang for a bad area. Is saying ghetto now offensive as well?

To many people who live here (including me) -- yeah.

I have taken my mom looking for an aaprtment and they have all been below 1000 by quite a bit. many 2 bedrooms for around 800. I have yet to see a"ghetto" part of Cary honestly. I would have lived at any of the complexes that we took mom to see.

Today anything negative is considered offensive.

I'm living at camden lake pine apartments. Certainly within your budget, reasonable apartments (not luxury, but well maintained) and although I've only been here a few weeks, I feel it's VERY safe. It's in Apex, but you can see the "welcome to Cary" signs from the edge of the complex.

my original target area was Wake Forest, but I'm happy to have landed right here.

Its not hard to find a one bedroom under $1000 in Cary. I thought I you were going to say a 2 bedroom at $1000.

I pay a little over $1,000 at Traditions at Stonewater for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. The complex (salt water pool, hot tub, fitness center, business center) and neighborhood (right near 540) are great. I can't hear my neighbors, but I hear everything outside. If your near the pool it's horrible. I hear everything people say at the pool and hot tub and they throw parties almost every weekend and during the week.

I just checked the Lodge at Crossroads and they had a 1 bedroom for $741. Windsor at Tryon Village has 1 bedroom for $850.
