This isn't my field of work but I know we have had some game programmers post on here before so I thought I would spread the word about a Video Game Job fair being held in Cary this week (November, 17).

You can read more about the Job fair here:

As much as I may enjoy playing games, programming them is horrible!! No thanks, I'll stick to app design and implementation .

Thanks for that link. Some time ago I had a regular column on a warcry site from a girl gamer pov, and wrote a few reviews for the main site. And once convinced an online game to implement some female friendly additions This site looks great!

As for the original post, does anyone know if there are going to be any interesting games in development showcased?

Fun story... I met my current boss while playing StarCraft online and happening into a random 2on2 game with him. We hit it off, gamed together for a while, now 7 years later I'm still telecommuting and testing software for him. All those hours wasted playing games paid off! In yo' face, Ma!

Horrah for games!
